The alarm clock buzzed for just a second at 6:00 AM before I promptly shut it off, as I do every morning before getting ready for school. Bracing myself for the inevitable chill since I always sleep fully in the nude. I dazedly tore off the covers and threw my feet over the side of the bed while sitting up and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I blinked tentatively a few times, and, still not quite awake, continued through the rest of my morning routine. It wasn’t until I was halfway through heating some water for my morning tea that I realized – ‘I don’t have to go into class today!’
